Ramadan Mubarak
All praise is due to Allah, and may peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, companions, and those who follow in their footsteps.
It is a pleasure for the Islamic Center of Davis to announce that Monday, March 11th will be the first day of Ramadan. This is due to the confirmed sighting of the crescent Sunday evening. The first night of taraweeh prayers will be held tonight, Sunday March 10th. Isha prayer will start at 9:10pm followed by taraweeh InshaAllah. We will have in-person iftar at the masjid starting on Monday, we encourage the community to bring water bottles packs for everyone if able.
We congratulate our community and all the Muslims around the world for the coming of the blessed month of Ramadan. We wish you all a safe month of worship and unity.
May Allah accept our goods deeds, forgive our sins, and grant us success in this blessed month.

We would like to start by thanking our community for their continuous and generous donations to our masjid. It is that time of year again when the doors of forgiveness are wide open and the opportunity for Jannah is there for the taking; it is the month of good deeds, Ramadan. One opportunity for good deeds is just around the corner; your Masjid's Annual Fundraiser.
Friday, March 22nd inshaAllah, the Masjid Annual Fundraiser will take place at the Islamic Center of Davis right after the Jumua prayer. The house of Allah needs your generous donations, especially during these difficult times. The funds collected will help support the Masjid expenses for the year.
Youth Ramadan Competition
We are excited to announce a Ramadan competition for the youth for Quran memorization, Quran reading, Athan and Tafseer. If you are interested in signing your children up for this competition then complete the form at this link and see the flyer attached below for more information:
Parking Reminder
As we embark on this beautiful month of Ramadan, we want to remind our community to respect our neighbors and to do no harm to anyone. We usually see an increase in the number of parking violations at the Masjid. These violations are a bad image to Islam and the Masjid. Please make sure to park only where it's allowed and to not block any driveways or sidewalks. Also please do not double park on the street. There will be a patrol vehicle handing out citations to vehicles that are in violation, and in cases when the vehicle is double parked or blocking a driveway, the vehicle will be towed at the owner's expense. We appreciate your cooperation.
