Hadith Of The Week

Abu Huraira (R) reported Allahs Messenger PBUH as saying:

Every (good) deed of the son of Adam would be multiplied, a good deed receiving a tenfold to seven hundredfold reward. Allah, the Exalted and Majestic, has said: With the exception of fasting, for it is done for Me and I will give a reward for it, for one abandons his passion and food for My sake. There are two occasions of joy for one who fasts, joy when he breaks it, and joy when he meets his Lord, and the breath (of an observer of fast) is sweeter to Allah than the fragrance of musk. [Sahih Muslim]

Fundraising Event TOMORROW

Please join us for our annual ICOB fundraiser this tomorrow Friday, March 22 after jumu'ah and after Isha! We are a nonprofit operating entirely on donations, and we rely on your generosity to keep the masjid building up and running and expand and improve our programs. Please donate generously to help us meet our goal of $90,000 to help cover a remodel of the sister's bathrooms, re-paving the parking lot, an operating expenses shortfall, and masjid activities for you and your family. May Allah reward you all generously and accept your good deeds. Looking forward to seeing you, insha'Allah!

Ramadan Kids Corner

Ramadan Kids Corner is back! Bring your kids to the masjid early every Friday and Saturday for a fun filled evening of Ramadan-themed activities!

We are hiring babysitters to take care of our beloved kids at the lower level at ICOB during Ishaaand Taraweeh prayers so kids can enjoy and parents can pray peacefully.**We need 2000$.**Sr. Hanan is taking charge of this. **- WE ALWAYS WANT VOLUNTEERS TO HELP IN ALL THE ACTIVITIES THAT WE DO DURING RAMADAN. PLEASE DO REACH TO ANYONE IN THE EC COMMITTEE. WHEN YOU'RE AT THE MASJID, CLEAN YOUR PLACE, RECYCLE PLASTIC TRAYS AND BOTTLES, REMOVE YOUR PLATES, PARK WHERE YOU SHOULD PARK, HELP IN ANYWAY! SADAKA IS NOT ONLY ABOUT MONEY.**Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet (pbuh) said: Sadaqah is due on every joint of a person, every day the sun rises. Administering of justice between two men is also a sadaqah. And assisting a man to ride upon his beast, or helping him load his luggage upon it, is a sadaqah; and a good word is a sadaqah; and every step that you take towards prayer is a sadaqah, and removing of harmful things from the pathway is a sadaqah.

Iqamah times for this week are as follows.

• Fajr:07:00 AM

• Dhuhr:02:15 PM

• Asr:05:45PM

• Maghrib:Adhan + 5 minutes

• Isha:Adhan + 5 minutes

• Jummah: 02:00 PM (Jummah is always at 2PM)
