Abu Ayyub reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan and then follows it with six days of fasting in the month of Shawwal, it will be as if he has fasted for the entire year.

**"**Our activities are primarily scheduled on weekdays, in the month of June and July with occasional exceptions for weekends. The timings for these events are set between 4 PM and 8 PM. Alongside the specified hours needed for volunteering on those days, please keep in mind that additional time will be allocated for planning and organizing each event.
Our diverse range of activities caters to various age groups, including younger kids, older kids and families. So if you have a preference for working with a certain age group, please select the activities in that age group only."

Little Muslim Book Club
We resume our Little Muslim Book Club this Friday! We start at 7:30 and pray maghrib together at the end. Bring your little ones with their prayer mats!

We will be heading to TURKEY TROT TRAIL , Allens Creek State Area. Fajr prayer is at 6:05AM.

From the Umayyads to the Ottomans: A Celebration of Islamic Art will feature the arts of Medieval Islam in the Middle East and Central Asia and will be held at the Bloomington Creative Glass Center at 229 W. Grimes Lane. The event is free to enter and suitable for all ages.
The event will feature:
Live glass blowing demonstrations
Folktales by the Bloomington Storytellers Guild
Get your name written in Arabic calligraphy with the Islamic Center of Bloomington
Hands on art including paper marbleizing
Make your own Hamsa with the IU Department of Archeology and Anthropology
Islamic Tile project with the IU Eskenazi Museum
The Arabic Flagship Program
