Community Speech and Dinner:
Join us tonight for an enlightening evening at the Islamic Center of Aurora (Masjid HIdayath) and our community dinner!

This evening aims to provide a platform for individuals from all walks of life to come together, learn, and engage in meaningful discussions.
The Islamic Center of Aurora, Masjid Hidayath, is a vibrant and inclusive community that values diversity and fosters understanding among people of different faiths and backgrounds.
We believe in the power of dialogue and aim to create an environment where individuals can learn about Islam and build bridges of friendship and mutual respect.In addition to the enlightening speeches, we will also be hosting a delightful dinner for all attendees, prepared by our own volunteers.
This will give everyone an opportunity to connect with one another, share experiences, and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood.

Traffic and Safety Team:
Last Friday at our community dinner we had a terrible incident right in front of our masjid during the community dinner. A group of five girls were bouncing a basketball by the parking lot exit and lost control of the ball.
The ball rolled out into the street and in front of a motorcycle rider causing to lose complete control of his motorcycle and flew off into the street.
The girls did witness everything that happened and immediately rushed and ran into the masjid. This is s serious matter.
Alhamdullilah the rider wasn't killed, but was a little shaken up and stressed about the situation but it did cause some major damage to his motorcycle.
Our point for sharing this incident is for your awareness as parents to make sure you know where your kids are even if they are at the masjid.
Fortunately these were mature teenagers, but if it was a smaller child, they would naturally chase the ball and run out into the street. The situation would have been worse for the child if that was the case.
