VOLUNTEER WITH THE IC THIS RAMADAN!
Salaam Everyone,
As we enter the final two weeks of the blessed month of Ramadan, the Islamic Center is in need of volunteers to assist with our community iftars and to provide baked goods.
Each night during iftar, we need volunteers to set up, serve and clean up. We also need volunteers to bake (or purchase!) goods for our bake sale each night. All profits collected from our baked sales will go to our humanitarian fundraiser. Without our volunteers, there's no way we'd be able to serve the hundreds of people we do each night. Volunteering is also a great way to meet new people, serve your community and grow closer to the divine.

Additionally, we need baked goods (homemade or store bought!) to see at our bake sales. All proceeds will go towards supporting our community's Ramadan activities and programs.

Another way to contribute to Ramadan at the Islamic Center is by covering the cost of one iftar. Every evening during Ramadan, we host between 600 - 800 people. If you can cover an entire night, part of a night, or gather a group of friends to get together and cover a night, we would greatly appreciate your support.

"Whoever helps break the fast of a fasting person, he will have the same reward as him, without decreasing anything from the reward of the fasting person."
COMMUNITY ACCESS FORM
If you are not a current NYU student, faculty, or staff member, you must request in-person access via our Building Access Form before arriving. If the form is not submitted, you will not be able to enter the IC building.
Upon arrival, all visitors will be required to present a physical, government-issued photo ID to gain access to the IC building. Digital copies will not be accepted. No exceptions.
