THE IC COMMUNITY
FRIDAY | 2 PM EST
GCASL Building, Grand Hall
238 Thompson St., 5th Fl.
New York, NY 10012
The Islamic Center will be hosting our weekly Jumu'ah prayer service at 1pm, with a sermon, followed by prayers and a community lunch. We also hope to utilize these gatherings as an opportunity to come together in one voice, in prayers and supplication, but also advocacy via phone banking with our local representatives to call for a ceasefire.
In order to facilitate these iftars for our community, we are looking for sponsors to cover our costs of approximately $2500.
To sponsor a community lunch, please visit our donation page and select "Islamic Center General Fund."
WOMEN'S CIRCLE | AKHIRAH MINDSET:
THE FEMALE COMPANIONS OF THE PROPHET ()
YOUSRA & REHAM
FRIDAY | 3:30 PM EST

Join Yousra and Reham every Friday at 3:30 pm for our Womens Halaqa as we learn more about the female companions of the Prophet () who shaped much of our religions history with their faith, warmth, creativity, leadership, and diversity.
Who better to take as role models?! Join us as we grow in our love for and draw incredible lessons from the lives of Khadijah, Um Habiba, Sumaiyah, and so many more (may Allah be pleased with them all).
No prior knowledge needed; open to students and community members of all ages. These discussion circles are intended to foster a safe space for sisters to share, learn, and grow together as we think about how topics such as mental health, boundaries, hijab, salah, goal setting, and more relate to His attributes. No prior knowledge needed!
NOTE: This week, the Women's Circle will be held on Zoom only. Please register below and you will receive the Zoom link just prior to the halaqa, insha' Allah.
