SPEND THESE BLESSED NIGHTS OF RAMADAN WITH US!

As we draw closer to the last 10 days and nights of Ramadan and seek out the the greatest of all nights_Laylatul Qadr_ (the Night of Power),the IC will be staying open until 1 am every night and hosting special late night and overnight programs so that we may all benefit from the barakah of being together in prayer and remembrance. 
 

We will continue with our regular nightly programs:

  • Pre-Iftar halaqas

  • Community iftars

  • Maghrib prayers

  • Isha' prayers

  • Taraweeh prayers

    NEW PROGRAMMING ACCORDING TO THE SUNNI TRADITION

  • Qiyam + Witr prayers (6 - 8 raka'ats of Qiyam and 3 of Witr) lead by Haafiz Nur

  • Qur'an tafsir and reflections with Imam Khalid Latif

  • Grand Qiyam until Fajr on Friday, April 5th with Imam Khalid Latif, Haafiz Ismail, Haafiz Sohaib & Haafiz Nur

    NEW PROGRAMMING ACCORDING TO THE SHIA TRADITION

  • Laylatul Qadr Nights with Dr. Sheikh Faiyaz Jaffer

  • Laylatul Qadr until Fajr on Tuesday, April 2 with Dr. Sheikh Faiyaz Jaffer

Full Iftar: $8,600

Half Iftar: $4,300

One way to contribute to Ramadan at the Islamic Center is by covering the cost of one iftar. Every evening during Ramadan, we host between 600 - 800 people. If you can cover an entire night, part of a night, or gather a group of friends to get together and cover a night, we would greatly appreciate your support.

COMMUNITY ACCESS FORM 

If you are not a current NYU student, faculty, or staff member, you must request in-person access via our Building Access Form before arriving. If the form is not submitted, you will not be able to enter the IC building. 

Upon arrival, all visitors will be required to present a physical, government-issued photo ID to gain access to the IC building. Digital copies will not be accepted. No exceptions.
