Join us this Saturday for a Spiritual Seclusion with Imam Khalid Latif and Sam McCausland
Spiritual Seclusion: Saturday, July 27th
We're excited to host a Spiritual Seclusion Saturday, July 27th with Imam Khalid and Ustadh Sam McCausland.
Come join us for the third rendition of our Spiritual Seclusion series where we will explore the importance of water in Islam and our responsibility as stewards of nature for our descendants. Make sure to bring comfortable loose clothing, a blanket to sit on, a journal and writing utensil, snacks and water to drink. Please make sure to RSVP. We look forward to seeing you then, inshallah!
***This halaqa will take place on the beach, in the sand, not close to any store so plan accordingly***
Solitude and seclusion has been instrumental in detaching from this dunya and reaffirming our connection to the divine since the Prophet () peace and blessings be upon him, first received revelation in the cave of Hira.
We seek now to create a space within our community to collectively exercise intentional solitudesomething that can feel like a difficult task in the cacophony of the city.
You can also follow us on Instagram and Facebook for up to date information.
