as'salaamu alaykum and jummah Mubarak,

I hope you all are having a blessed Friday and keeping well inshallah.  Below is a list of du'aa requests from members of our community.  Please do keep them and each other in your prayers on this blessed day of Jummah if you can.

The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, mentioned the day of Friday and said, In it is an hour in which no Muslim stands to pray and ask Allah for something but that he will be given it, and he indicated with his hand that the time is very short. Anticipate that time by immersing your moments on this day of Jummah with du'aa for yourselves, for others, and for all those listed below.  May Allah accept from all of us.  Ameen.

If there are du'aa requests that you would like to have considered for inclusion in this weekly email, please fill out this form by Thursday evening.

URGENT: Imam Khalid Latif traveled to Egypt earlier this week to help deliver much needed humanitarian aid and supplies to our sisters and brothers in Gaza. This aid is getting into Gaza alhamdulillah. We need your help to make sure our trucks are filled with as much as possible. Please help make this happen by making a zakat-eligible/tax-deductible contribution today at launchgood.com/AidToGazaNow. Alhamdulillah we've already raised more than $1,100,000.00 and want to raise as much as we can to help our sisters and brothers in their time of need.

Please also remember to support our Islamic Center at NYU with a tax-deductible donation before the end of the year at icnyu.org/donate.  The IC plays a critical role for so many people. All of our programs and operations run completely off of donations and community support.  Please do give what you can to help us continue to do the work that we do.

DU'AA REQUESTS: PRAYERS FOR DECEASED

May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala forgive our brothers and sisters for any of their shortcomings and mistakes of this world.  May He grant them peace in the grave, expanding it for them and protecting them from its trials and tribulations. May He raise them amongst those who are righteous, those who are patient, those who are truthful, and those who believe.  May He grant them shade on that day when there is no shade but that of His throne.  May He grant them entrance into jannah without any judgement.  May they dwell therein in the company of all those whom they love and the company of His most beloved, salallahu 'alayhi was'salaam, and may He guide and bless us all.  Ameen. Ameen ya rabbal 'aalameen.

DU'AA REQUESTS: PRAYERS FOR SICKNESS AND DIFFICULTY

DU'AA REQUESTS: OTHER DU'AA REQUESTS

Barakallahu feekum - May Allah bless each of you always and give to you and your loved ones only the best in this world and the best in the next.  Ameen.
