as'salaamu alaykum and Eid Mubarak,

I hope you all are doing well and having a blessed Eid inshallah.  Alhamdulillah, for the remainder of the Summer our main prayer room in rm 472 of the NYU GCASL building at 238 Thompson Street will now be accessible with extended hours to accommodate for Maghrib prayers.  For the remainder of the Summer, the hours of operation will be as follows:

**From Today until July 15th
Monday - Friday: 8AM to 10PM EST
Closed on Weekends

From July 16th - the end of the Summer Term
Monday - Friday: 8AM to 9PM EST
Closed on Weekends**

We've adjusted some of our halaqa timings to accommodate for the time change.  After Labour Day, we will return to a 7 day a week schedule inshallah and will send out a reminder at that time.

All NYU card holders can access the space as usual so long as your ID card is not expired.  Please note that if you present an expired NYU ID card at the security guard's desk they are required to take it back from you and not return it.

For visitors, you will need a valid government issued physical ID card with photo (a virtual card won't be accepted and neither will an expired card) to sign into the building and to fill out our visitor form at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSemztu7WeIsNs0p9EXH-guISuZYNukcXjILC_kO94PBdwUVvQ/viewform which will give you access to the building.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to be in touch. Barakallahu feekum - May Allah bless each of you always and give to you and your loved ones only the best in this world and the best in the next.  Ameen.
