Join Imam Zaid for his Jumu'ah khutbah and evening lecture on Islamic economics!
Imam Zaid Shakir at the IC, April 19
As-salaamu 'alaikum,
ICNYU is honored to have Imam Zaid Shakir as our special guest scholar on Friday, April 19th.
Imam Zaid will be delivering the Friday Jumu'ah khutbah and then later that evening, he will be giving a talk titled Ethical Economics: Building Institutional Resilience, in which he will discuss how ethical foundations in economics and finance can lead to great social impact and wealth for our communities, spawning institutional resurgence and resilience. In a world where consumer wealth wields immense power to drive or detract from good, learn how we can set a solid foundation for the American Muslim community to flourish.
