For more than 20 years, the IC has been providing free nightly iftars and an array of services to the entire community through the generous support of individuals like you. This Ramadan, we are expecting to host anywhere between 600 to 700 a night. Our estimated cost per night this year is $7,400. If you can cover an entire night, part of a night or gather a group of friends to get together and cover a night, we greatly appreciate the support. Every dollar makes a difference and helps us ensure a great Ramadan experience for so many.
All donations are tax deductible and can be done either online by clicking at the link below and choosing "Ramadan Fund" or by check written out to New York University and mailed/dropped off to our office at 238 Thompson Street rm 491 NY NY 10012.**

All Pre-Iftar Halaqas start at 6:00 PM and will take place in The Grand Hall unless otherwise stated. Taraweeh will take place after Isha Prayers every night in The Grand Hall

VOLUNTEER THIS RAMADAN WITH THE ICNYU
Join us every night in Ramadan for a community iftar dinner to break your fast. Taraweeh prayers will be held after Isha prayer every Night of this blessed month. This is open and free for everyone! It doesnt matter if you've never been to the IC or have been here for years, if you are or are not fasting, if you are Muslim or come from another walk of life, we welcome everyone! Its all part of what makes the expereience at the Islamic Center unique, and what will make your Ramadan in NYC unforgettable.
ICNYU GREEN RAMADAN
BRING YOUR OWN WATER BOTTLE! ICNYU will be continuing with our Green Ramadan this year. In order to cut down on waste, we will not be providing cups. Please bring a reusable water bottle and do your part by helping us properly compost and recycle.

COMMUNITY ACCESS FORM
If you are a community member and have not filled out the visitor access form, click here. All guests are required to fill out the visitor access form by clicking here. Once this form is complete, you will be entered into the NYU visitor system and will be able to enter our facilities by presenting a govt. issued ID card that matches the name that you filled out the form with. Please note that a physical ID is necessary to gain access to the building and a virtual ID will no longer be acceptable.
