About Dr. Ahmed Ebeid

Dr. Ahmed Ebeid is the son of a United Nations interpreter, experiencing the world from a young age. After receiving his medical degree in Cairo, Ahmed returned to America to continue his professional training. He acquired his residency in Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago and two specialty fellowships, Pain Management from Stanford University and Pediatric Anesthesia from the University of Michigan. After working in private practice on the East Coast for several years, he moved to Oregon in 2008 to run his own clinic for more than ten years. A strong advocate of humanitarian relief efforts, Ahmed has traveled on medical missions whenever possible in the last 15 years. Missions have taken him to Uganda, Yemen, Guatemala and several times to Gaza. His last two missions to Gaza were during this genocide. Ahmed shares his life with his wife Nora and their three children Taha, Yaseen and Misk and daughter in law Ayah. Coming from a large extended family, Ahmed is always looking forward to hosting and visiting family. Ahmed and his family foster children and host refugees arriving to Portland from time to time. They enjoy spending time outdoors in the great Pacific Northwest, as they enjoy hiking, camping, skiing, whitewater rafting and traveling beyond the PNW.
