'Arafah Day & Eid Request: We Need Your Help On 2 Projects To Assist Those In Need & ICNYU Support

I hope you are doing well inshallah and benefiting from these blessed days of Dhul Hijjah.  May Allah bless us in and through these days and make us from those who benefit from the Day of 'Arafah and Eid ul-Adha.  Ameen. 

With the Day of 'Arafah upon us, I'm writing to you all to ask for your support of three things:

Provide Food To Those In Need Today - Give Your Udhiya/Qurbani By Clicking Here

Our Islamic Center at NYU is working with Islamic Relief USA to bring much-needed food relief to our brothers and sisters in need around the world through our Udhiyah/Qubani campaign at launchgood.com/ICNYUQurbani2024. The cost of one Udhiyah/Qubani ranges from $75 to $350 depending on the country you designate for it and will feed up to 10 families, but really anything will help. People who receive the meat will include widows, orphans, the destitute, the elderly, people with disabilities, and so many more individuals that the world has forgotten.

With Eid around the corner, our Islamic Center at NYU is also partnering with a non-profit called Khairgiver on it's 9th annual Eid Toy Drive this year to bring toys to pediatric patients.  What started with one hospital in NYC has grown this year to 25 hospitals in 25 states around the country mashallah.  This year we are also working with HEAL Palestine, who will bring toys to children from Gaza who were evacuated with critical medical needs, and the Sudanese American Physicians Association, who will bring toys directly to children in hospitals in Sudan. Over the years, these drives have brought smiles and joy to thousands of children and we want to show love to that many more this Eid inshallah.  You can make a tax-deductible monetary contribution or purchase toys directly via Khairgiver's Amazon Wish Lists at https://www.khairgiver.com/eidtoydrive2024. Money donated will be used to purchase those same toys.

If you haven't done so already, please do consider making a contribution to the IC on this blessed Day of 'Arafah by clicking here so that we can continue to do the work that we do to help others.  We pride ourselves on being a resource for people from all backgrounds and try to do our best to help others in their time of need. Since the beginning of this year alone we have been able to raise more than $5 Million to provide financial assistance to thousands of people.  This is in addition to being a public voice on major media, putting on programs and services that impact thousands in persons and hundreds of thousands of people logged in virtually from around the world and much more.
