Assalamu-Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu
We hope and pray that everyone is in good health and looking forward to the month of Dhul Hijjah, of which the first ten days are the best ten days of the year. It is a time of amplified reward for one’s good deeds and a time of mercy from Allah (SWT).
Thursday June 6
Dhul Hijjah begins at sunset
Friday June 7
The first day of Dhul Hijjah
Saturday June 15
Day of Arafah
Sunday June 16
Eid ul Adha
Insha-Allah, as soon as we finalize the time and place for Eid Salah which will be on Sunday June 16, we will inform the community.
We would like to remind everyone that it is Sunnah to fast during the first nine days of Dhul Hijjah. If one is not able to fast all nine days then at the very least one should try to fast on the Day of Arafah.
|The Prophet (saw) said, ’There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than on the day of ‘Arafah’. [Muslim]
We should all strive to make the most of the blessed ten days of Dhul Hijjah by increasing our worship and remembrance of Allah (SWT). One’s charity will also be repaid in the Hereafter.
We ask Allah (swt) to forgive our sins and accept all our Ibadah. Ameen
