The Islamic Association of Raleigh (IAR) congratulates you on the approach of Eid Al-Adha, tomorrow, Sunday, June 16. The IAR follows the official announcement of Eid Al-Adha date by the Saudi Supreme Court, as do the vast majority of fiqh councils and the ummah worldwide in observing a unified Day of Arafah and Eid holiday.
Eid prayers will be held at the Jim Graham Building in two shifts. The first shift will be held at 7:30 AM with the gathering beginning at 6:30 AM. The second shift will be held at 9:30 AM with the gathering beginning at 8:30 AM.
Please bring a prayer rug for yourself and your family. The 2nd shift Eid prayer and Khutbah starting at 9:30 am will be broadcast live as a spiritual reminder for those tuning in from home.

It is Sunnah to recite unrestricted takbir during the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah and all the days of Tashriq, starting from the beginning of the month of Dhul Hijjah until the end of the days of Al-Tashriq, which is when the sun sets on the 13th day of Dhul Hijjah.
