Allah Himself swears an oath by these ten days in the Quran: By the dawn; by the ten nights (Quran, 89:1-2).
Ibn Abbas (RA) reported that the Prophet (SAW) said No days are as virtuous and beloved to Allah with respect to the days in which Allahs servants put forth righteous deeds than the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.
