Pay your Fitra or Zakat Al Fitr or Sadaqatul Fit'r (this weekend for packaging/Distribution)

Assalamu Alaykum Warahmatullaahi Wabarakaatuh,

Respected Community Members,
Please fulfill your Zakat Al Fit'r (FITRA) or Sadaqatul Fit'r obligation ASAP ($10 per person). Like every year, we will distribute Fitra among needy Muslim families locally in DFW area. Allen Masjid is planning to package/distribute the food items and meat (6 lbs each family) in collaboration with ICNA this weekend as per below:

March 30th, 11am-2pm, we will package all Fitra boxes in Allen masjid. Requesting at least 30 volunteers (You can join this Whatsapp group if you like to be part of Packaging or distribution of Fitra/Fidya: https://chat.whatsapp.com/IDy3EPCKPPF2xohE3rB5Pf ). In addition to that, We need 10 volunteers to tape the boxes and arranging the merchandise at 10:30am
March 31st, 11am-1pm, we will deliver these boxes to needy families. Distribution will start sharply at 11am. We need 20-30 volunteers at least. Meet at: ICNA Food Pantry, 108-74 Plano Rd #F, Dallas TX 75238.

Meat items are not mandatory but are extremely coveted by these families. So, we will add beef as well like other years.

FYI, we will still collect until EID-UL-Fitr day and Allen Masjid is paying forward your Fitra/Zakat Al Fit'r/Sadaqatul Fit'r donation on your behalf (estimating for those who have not paid their part yet) for now.

FYI, only 33% of the goal is being collected so far. Please pay your mandatory Zakatul Fitr or Sadqatul Fit'r or Fitra before EID prayer.
