NEW / IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THIS WEEK
We are pleased to share with you an update on the Masjid Extension Project. Alhamdulillah, the project is progressing well and moving quickly. Here are the latest milestones:
Concrete foundations and cast-in-place insulation completed
Exterior foundation insulation and backfill completed
Excavation complete for main septic area and addition (fill currently paused pending ministry discussions on permits)
Below-grade plumbing installation completed
Floor slab completed
Main structural columns installed and wall framing nearly complete
Sheathing underway (see photo below)
Exterior concrete stairs poured (see photo below)
Project documents are being continuously archived on our cloud storage platform
While we are making great progress, we still need your support to reach our fundraising goal so that we can pay for the project by completion. One of the best ways you can help is by attending our upcoming Fundraising Dinner on Saturday, September 20, 2025 (details below).
This special evening will be a chance for our community to come together, enjoy a beautiful dinner, and take a major step forward in completing the extension project, inshaAllah.

Kingston's Dawah group is planning to Every Sunday from 4:00PM to 5:30PM, community members gather outside City Hall at 216 Ontario Street to offer dawah to the wider Kingston community. Alhamdulilah, So far, many dedicated volunteers have contributed their time and effort to share knowledge and build connections with the wider community.
To grow this important work and expand dawah efforts throughout Kingston, more volunteers are needed. Trainings and ongoing support are provided to help you feel confident and prepared.
Together, we can strengthen our community outreach and invite more community members into the fold of Islam, inshaAllah.

Calling all sisters with a love for volleyball! Whether youre a beginner or returning to the game after a break, join us every Sunday at 6 PM at the Woodbine Beach volleyball courts for a fun and supportive evening.
Our group welcomes sisters of all ages and skill levels. We play, encourage one another, and share tips to help everyone enjoy the game and improve together.
