Jazakum Allahu Khayran to everyone who joined us this past Saturday, July 26th, for our community Town Hall. Were sharing a brief update below, along with some important opportunities to get involved and support your masjid.

Town Hall Summary 120-Day Strategic Plan

The ISK Executive Team shared our 120-Day Plan, focused on revitalizing operations, increasing engagement, and establishing sustainable revenue streams.

Key phases of the plan include:

• Days 130: Assessment and stabilization of operations, financial review, Eid planning, and re-alignment of focus areas

• Days 3160: Membership drive, volunteer mobilization, and committee restructuring

• Days 6190: Revenue generation through community events and fundraising partnerships

• Days 91120: Long-term growth, expanded programming, and improved outreach

Some early accomplishments:

• Technology and communication upgrades

• Financial systems stabilized

• Launch of Extension project construction

• Initial volunteer engagement strategy implemented

• Clear roadmap developed with SWOT review

Join the Constitutional Review Committee

We are now recruiting members for the Constitutional Review Committee as part of our commitment to transparency, governance, and growth. If you are interested in participating, please [email protected].

Extension Project Construction & Fundraising Update

Alhamdulillah, weve completed:

• Excavation, foundational footings, and backfill

• Underground plumbing with inspections passed

• Prep work for connecting the new extension to the main building

So far, the campaign has raised approximately $50,000. Our total needed for completion is now $633,674.

Please mark your calendar for our next Matching Jummah this Friday, August 1st. All donations made at ISK, Crossroads, QUMSA, and online will be matched 100% up to $5,000.

Volunteer or Donate for the ISK Summer Bazaar

Our annual ISK Bazaar will take place on Sunday, August 10th from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. This is a family-friendly event with delicious food, kids activities, vendors, and more all in support of the Extension Project.
