Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
I am honored and humbled to step into the role of President of the Islamic Society of Kingston along with our new executive team. With sincere gratitude to our community and past leadership, we look forward to serving our community, committed to transparency, collaboration, and engagement—values we believe are essential to fostering unity and progress.
Over the next two weeks, once the transition and organizational groundwork are in place, we will be sharing a 120-day action plan that outlines our priorities and the steps we aim to take together, insha’Allah.
Your voice, input, and involvement will be at the heart of this journey. Let’s move forward with renewed purpose and a shared vision for the betterment of our community.

Br Islam, Br Nouman, Br. Imran, Br Tariq, Sr Mie and Br Brock. May Allah SWT reward you for all your time and dedication.
The Secretary role became vacant after the AGM and we have appointed Sr Nur - ul Huda, as interim secretary for the remainder of the term and as she vacates the women’s representative position, Sister Adeela Elkorazati has agreed to step in as interim for the remainder of that term.
We will be holding quarterly town-hall meetings to maintain a consistent layer of formal engagement so the first meeting will be in mid July and we will confirm the date as we move forward Inshahallah.
