ISK Annual General Meeting
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu Dear community members,
This is a reminder that ISK's Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place tomorrow, Sunday, April 13th at 11:00 AM (start at 11:15am, requesting everyone to arrive at 11 am so we can start on time InshAllah) at the Islamic Centre of Kingston.
In accordance with the ISK Constitution, we must have 25% of our membership (at least 50 out of 200 members) present within the first 30 minutes for the meeting to proceed.
Please make every effort to arrive on time so that quorum can be met and the meeting can begin promptly.
Also please keep in mind the following:
* We are looking forward to having a wonderful and productive AGM InshAllah.
* Absolutely no disrespect towards any volunteers, Election committee representatives or ISK Execs will be tolerated. Members will be asked to leave if they are found disrespecting and or engaging in inappropriate behaviour.
* Sadly quite a few people have told me their reason for not attending AGMs at ISK. All reasons involve the overall environment of the AGM. We must work to change that.
* Last 2-3 weeks of my life have revolved around the AGM and I will do everything I can to ensure that we have a smooth and productive AGM.
Please note that the Treasurer report/presentation for 2024 has also been uploaded to the google drive.
