With the help of Allah (SWT) and your generous donations, we are fostering a beautiful Muslim community in the greater Akron area. Our center continues to offer numerous programs and services, make necessary capital improvements, and incur fixed costs in staff salaries, utilities, and routine maintenance work. With your financial support during the upcoming fundraiser, we hope to cover the operational expenses for the current fiscal year and undertake additional capital improvement initiatives, inshAllh.
May we find Laylat al-Qadr in the last 10 nights of Ramadan, and may all our acts of worship and charity be multiplied manifold.
See you at the fundraiser, inshAllh!
Sincerely,
Islamic Society of Akron and Kent

Kent State Universitys Students for Justice in Palestine is organizing a campaign for Kent State to cancel an event featuring two IDF soldiers who participated in the brutality in Gaza. The IDFs actions in Gaza have involved indiscriminate bombings, collective punishment, and the destruction of civilian infrastructure, which are violations of international laws. These include the Geneva Conventions and International Humanitarian Law.
