Akron Area Interfaith Council Summer Potluck
Last Tuesday, ISAK had the pleasure of hosting the Akron Area Interfaith Councils (AAIC) annual Summer Potluck at our pavilion. AAIC graciously extended the invitation to our community, making space for shared meals, meaningful dialogue, and the opportunity to meet new faces from across different faiths.
The evening began with a brief reminder and prayer led by Sheikh Zobair Ahmad, who spoke about the importance of building a sincere connection with Allah (SWT) to nurture our souls. Many of our youth took part in the event, engaging with guests and forming meaningful connections within the interfaith community.

Urgent Support for First Cleveland Mosque Operations
First Cleveland Mosque, a historic community institution serving Cleveland for nearly 90 years, is facing urgent financial needs. They must raise $2,000 by July 19th to cover an insurance payment and additional funds to manage their summer gas bill, estimated at around $6,800.
The mosque operates nearly 24/7 and provides important services including monthly food distribution, free health screenings, a community garden, and a space for public gatherings.
