ISA Election Date Extended by One Week
Assalam O Aleikum,
The deadline for nominations to the Islamic Society of Annapolis (ISA) council for the 2024 election was August 9, 2024. The election committee received only 7 nominations but needs 9 members to complete the ISA council. To address this, we are extending the nomination period by one week, from August 16, 2024, to August 22, 2024.
All 7 individuals who have already submitted nominations will be declared ISA council members. If more than 2 additional nominations are received, an election will be held among the new nominees. The final day to submit nominations is Thursday, August 22, 2024, by 8 PM.
