Hearts that long for the Beloved

Jumuah Mubarak to our dear brothers and sisters.

As we gather our hearts for this blessed Jumu'ah, lets remember how even creation showed love and longing for the Prophet . When he approached the Buraq (the mount for his Isra and Miraj journey), it trembled with excitement. This was none other than the Beloved of Allah whom he had the immense honor of being at the service of!

There's also the story of the humble tree stump upon which the Prophet leaned on for Jumu'ah khutbah. After he moved to the minbar (pulpit), it wept like a child, unable to bear the sorrow of separation.

If even the Buraq and a simple tree stump felt such yearning for his beloved presence, how much more should we, those blessed with his teachings, feel alonging for him?

As Ustadh Tariq eloquently puts it, "are our hearts harder than a tree stump?"

Watch this video to reflect and remind ourselves to nurture our connection with the Beloved of Allah .

We invite you to delve deeper into these beautiful lessons with the Seerah class with Ustadh Tariq on Saturday afternoons. Learn not only the story of Isra and Mi'raj but how it can inspire your worship, uplift your soul, and deepen your connection with Allah and His Messenger . Sign up at events.meccacenter.com.

A Deed worth 700x

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said,

Whoever donates charity in the way of Allah, it will be multiplied up to seven hundred times in hisrecord.

Tirmidhi 1625

Your contribution today can profoundly transform lives and guide new Muslim brothers and sisters towards a closer relationship with Allah. Your donation will be the means to provide for more events, programming, and classes to tread the path of Islam.

As our beloved Prophet reminds us, the best day to give sadaqa is Friday.

Give on the best day

Let your gift of charity bless you with the best in this life and the next. Ameen.
