Im writing to share that Ive concluded my time as Executive Director of Taleef.
When I first came to Taleef, I didnt come looking for a role. I came because something real was being built. Something that spoke to the seeker, the heartbroken, the convert, the youth, the ones between identities and illusions.
I gave myself to that vision with everything I had. And over the years, I was entrusted with the responsibility of carrying that trust forward, not as a job, but as a calling.
I led during rupture. I led through rebuilding. I led through grief, and joy, and impossibility. Not always perfectly, but wholeheartedly.
What we built together cannot be measured by metrics. Its measured by the ones who found God again. The ones who felt seen for the first time. The ones who wept in the corner, unnoticed by most, but not by Him.
My gratitude is real. To every soul who stood beside me: staff, volunteers, elders, youth, community members, mentors, and strangers whose dua I never heard but surely felt; thank you. You are the unseen architects of what was beautiful here.
This isnt a farewell to the work. Its a return to what called me in the first place; service and love. I dont know what comes next. I only know Who guides the path. And that is enough.
Please keep me in your dua, as I carry you in mine.
With deep dua and unwavering gratitude,
Ali Dia
The_1000 Hearts campaignis an effort to gather 1000 Hearts together in support of Ta'leefs work. 1000 supporters coming together forming one beating heart that helps keep this work alive. By giving**$3 a day($90/month recurring)**we would meet our annual budget and more. 1000 hearts came from an effort to highlight the individuals that we take care of at Ta'leef. The seeker, the newcomer and the youth. By giving**$1/day for each category**_above you would sustain our work and beneficiaries at Ta'leef. Please support so we can continue lending a heart to those that need our support the most!
