Important Ramadan and Taraweeh Announcements
Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,
Alhamdulillah, we are blessed to welcome the holy month of Ramadan, a time of mercy, reflection, and spiritual growth. On behalf of our ICM Executive Committee & BOT, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and your families. May Allah (SWT) grant us all the ability to maximize the rewards of this blessed month and accept our fasts, prayers, and good deeds.
We would like to remind everyone that starting Friday night (2/28/25), we will be holding:
- This year, we will pray 8 rakat of Taraweeh, followed by Witr prayer. Those who wish to complete 20 rakat of Taraweeh may continue after Witr.
- Isha prayer will be offered 20 minutes after the Isha Athan, followed by Taraweeh prayers.
- On Fridays, Isha prayer will be offered 30 minutes after the Isha Adhan
- Fajr Prayers will be offered 30 minutes after the fajr adhan
- All prayer times are posted on the icmorgantown.org website under the Prayer Times link
May this Ramadan bring us all closer to Allah (SWT), strengthen our faith, and fill our hearts with peace and contentment. Let us take full advantage of this sacred month by increasing in worship, charity, and seeking forgiveness.
