Important Notice Regarding Community Safety Precautions

Assalamu Alaikum MIA Community,

We hope this message finds you well, InshAllah. The McKinney Islamic Association (MIA) has recently been informed of a threat made to another masjid in the DFW area. While there is no immediate threat to the MIA, we are taking proactive measures to ensure the safety of our community.

Effective immediately, a security guard will be stationed on-site during high-traffic times. Additionally, we have requested the McKinney Police Department to increase patrols around the MIA premises.

If you notice anything unusual or concerning, please report it promptly to the on-site security guard or email us at [email protected]. In case of emergencies, please call 911 immediately.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we continue to prioritize the safety of everyone in our community.
