Please read this important info about the Khatum ul Quran inshaAllah
Assalamualaikum,
SubhanAllah, the Khatum ul Quran is already here. Join us on this blessed 27th night of Ramadan TOMORROW, March 26th, as we complete the recitation of the Quran with Qari Muhammad Zahid, Shaykh Yaseen Shaikh, and Imam Ismet Akcin.
Important guidelines:
-
Please consider carpooling as we are anticipating a large number of people.
-
Please do your best to arrive early to avoid the crowds.
-
Isha will be prayed at 9:00pm and Taraweeh begins shortly after.
-
Please show respect for the parking staff, who will be in charge of organizing parking in the evening, as well as the volunteers and security staff.
-
If the main parking lot is full, please park in the overflow lots across the street or down the road (see map below). All overflow parking is a 2-3 minute walk from the Masjid.
We request everyone to review the parking map before coming and to arrive early.
On busy days like this, it's important to remember that we should do our best to be patient and kind with others. Whether it's a Muslim volunteer or a non-Muslim volunteer, the person praying beside you or the person behind you in the parking lot-
The Prophet (SAW) said, Be kind, for whenever kindness becomes part of something, it beautifies it. - (Ahmad in al-Musnad, 2/440)
"By his good character a believer can reach the same rank as someone who fasts and prays at night. (Sunan Abi Dawud, 4798)
And we must never forget the story of the woman who prayed, fasted, and gave in charity, but our Prophet (SAW) revealed she was in fact a person of Hellfire due to her sharp tongue and rudeness directed towards her neighbors. (Ahmad in al-Musnad, 2/440)
My Allah (SWT) allow us all to be people of Jannah, known for our kindness and compassion.
