ICVA Expansion
Dear ICVA Community,
As you all know and have seen with the construction, ICVA has officially begun its long-awaited expansion project, over 20 years in the making! With our growing community comes the need for more space and improved facilities.
Now that ground has been broken, we encourage everyone to find ways to stay involved and support this effort while also remaining patient as we navigate this journey together, InshaAllah.

Ramadan Reflections
Ramadan Reflection: Finding Strength in the Midway Slump
As we enter the second third of Ramadan, many of us may feel the initial excitement of the month starting to wear off. The energy of the first ten days has faded, but we are not quite in the final stretch yet. This is often the toughest part, when fatigue sets in, patience runs thin, and fasting becomes more of a challenge. But this is exactly what Ramadan is about: learning to hold our temper, choosing kindness even when we are tired and hungry, and reminding ourselves to think of others. Let us be extra patient with family, co-workers, and those around us, knowing that everyone is fasting and facing their own struggles. A simple act of kindness, a gentle word, or a small smile can go a long way in making this journey easier for everyone.
More importantly, find comfort in the difficulties you face. The harder something is, the more reward it carries. Do not feel discouraged if fasting feels tough, smile and embrace the struggle, knowing you are earning immense rewards. If giving charity is hard for you, push yourself to give just a little more and feel joy in that sacrifice. Every hardship comes with blessings, and with every struggle, ease will follow. Keep going, stay hopeful, and know that every effort you make is seen and valued by Allah.
If you have a reflection topic you would like us to include in the next email, feel free to reach out we would love to hear from you!
