Jumu'ah Update, New ICO App, Seniors Event and more!

In continuing the series Fajr & Fitness, wherein sisters ages 14+ are invited to pray Fajr at the Masjid (11543 Ruby Lake Rd) followed by a talk on health and activities all in the sisters section of the Masjid, the next session will be on Saturday, February 8th, from 6:30 AM - 8 AM, titled Relax, regulate, and come fill your wellness tank. All sisters (ages 14+) that are interested should register via the form below.

ICO is collaborating with UMSS and Libbys Legacy to host a Mobile Mammogram Screening Bus for Women on Tuesday, February 18th, from 8 AM to 1:45 PM outside the Masjid (11543 Ruby Lake Rd). Appointments are required and limited, first-come, first-served. No walk-ins will be taken. The deadline to make an appointment has been extended to this Friday, January 31st.

Uninsured women must complete and send in the following: UMSS-Health Dept patient referral form + Libbys Legacy application form + WCR application form + Picture of ID

Insured women must complete and send in the following: UMSS-Health Dept patient referral form + WCR application form + Insurance card + Picture of ID

ICO will be hosting a Pre-Ramadan Wellness Program for seniors, brothers and sister, ages 60+ on Sunday, February 9th, from 11 AM - 1 PM at the MAGO Cafeteria (11551 Ruby Lake Rd). This program will cover nutrition advice and spiritual guidance for seniors. Join us for a session on healthy eating and fasting tips with a nutritionist, followed by a Q&A on the Fiqh and Sunan of Ramadan with Imam Tariq Rasheed.

ICO hosts a Tassawwuf Class every Saturday after Fajr (6:30 AM) taught by Imam Tariq Rasheed at the Masjid (11543 Ruby Lake Rd) in the Urdu language. This class covers Islamic spirituality, self-purification, and how to get closer to Allah using the Islamic texts Al-Fawaid and Madarij al-Salikin written by Imam Ibn Qayyim al-Jawziyya . Refreshments are served. All community members are encouraged to attend and benefit .

ICO hosts an Islamic Studies Class every Sunday after Fajr (6:30 AM) taught by Imam Tariq Rasheed at the MAGO Cafeteria (11551 Ruby Lake Rd). This class covers Quran, Hadith (Sahih Al-Bukhari), Arabic Language, and Islamic History. Refreshments are served. All community members are encouraged to attend and benefit .
