Annual Spoken Word Competition
One of the highlights of this year's convention is the Annual Poetry Slam: Spoken Word Competition, hosted by Ibrahim Jaaber. This years theme is "Standing Strong: Identity Rooted in Faith". This competition invites participants to express themselves through spoken word poetry, with prizes for winners and a potential opportunity to perform on the Main Stage during the convention.

Muslim Youth Debate Tournament
Another exciting opportunity this year is the Muslim Youth Debate Tournament (MYDT), presented by the Mafiq Foundation. This prestigious event promises to be a platform for young minds to foster critical thinking, hone their persuasive skills, and engage in spirited discourse on issues that matter.

Sunday, May 25th, 2025 (Semi-finals and Finals - At the ICNA Convention, starting at 10:00 am EST)

The tournament is open to middle and high school students.

Quran Competition
The Quran Competition is another cherished highlight of the ICNA-MAS Convention, giving participants the opportunity to showcase their recitation and memorization skills in a spirit of encouragement and love for the Holy Quran.
The competition will be held on Saturday, May 24th, and Sunday, May 25th, 2025. There are multiple categories based on age and level of memorization, ensuring that participants of different stages are able to compete fairly.
Prizes and Awards:
Top winners in each category will receive cash prizes, trophies, and certificates in recognition of their achievement.
Special Grand Prize: The top winner of Category 6 (full Quran memorization) will be awarded a free Umrah ticket!

Matrimonial Service
Another special event at this year's ICNA-MAS Convention is the highly anticipated Matrimonial Event, designed to help like-minded individuals connect in a structured, respectful, and Islamic environment.
The event will take place on Sunday, May 25th, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the Baltimore Convention Center, in the Grand Ballroom.
Registration is required to participate, with an online registration fee of $90. Limited onsite registration may be available for $200, but only if the event has not sold out. Please note that registration for the ICNA Convention is also required to attend the matrimonial event.
