People are always looking for things that are beneficial. The ayah and hadith remind us that all of us have the ability to invest with Allah by making Dhikr a consistent part of our lives. Simple actions that take a few seconds can have enormous positive effects in this dunya and the aakhirah. May Allah make us among those that constantly engage in His remembrance through our words and actions.
Hadeeth of the Day
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (RAA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah () said:
The lasting good deeds are: (the saying of) 'None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, How perfect Allah is and Allah is great and all praise is for Allah, There is no might nor power except with Allah. Related by An-Nasa'i. Ibn Hibban and Al-Hakim graded it as Sahih.

ICN 248th Masjid An-Noor August Update
Alhamdulillah, we made tremendous progress in August. The walls have been painted, the floor tiles are being installed on the second floor, and the drop ceiling has been installed in several areas of the building.
September will be pivotal as we anticipate the arrival of the chandelier and the musallah carpet, bringing us closer to the finish line, InshAllah.

Beginner Art of Embroidery and Sewing Program, specifically designed for kids aged 7-15!
This beginner-friendly course offers a unique opportunity for young learners to explore both hand and machine embroidery techniques, allowing them to express their creativity through the timeless art of sewing and embroidery.

ICN's Qur'an Institute's Qur'an classes program has been expanded to include elementary grades KG - 5th in addition to 6-8 Grades & 9-12 Grades boys and girls . The program is led by Shaykh Akram Abeidi under the supervision of our shuyooks Shaykh Rizwan Ali and Shaykh Omar Hedroug. During the course of this program, the kids will learn how to read Qur'an, improve their recitation and memorization of the Qur'an with understanding. In sha Allah this will be coupled with Islamic Studies and fun activities.

The ICN Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) committee at the Islamic Center of Naperville proudly announces the continuation of our program to teach the Arabic language to the children of the community. Our goal is to help every student love, understand, speak, read, write, communicate, and enjoy the Arabic language. The Rahmah program will focus on all the students' senses to learn. All communications in class will be in Arabic. We will focus on Islamic studies as well as part of the curriculum and will continue to have optional Qur'an classes during the course of the program. In addition, this year, the Arabic class program is also open for non-Arabic speaking children ages 6-8 years.

We are looking for a dedicated and qualified volunteer to lead this Human Capital Development (HCD) sub-committee. This requires a commitment of 4 to 6 hours per week on an ongoing basis.
