Reflection: The Best of Days
Alhumdulillah we are in the best days of the year. From these days, the best day is the Day of Arafah- It is a day that Allah has blessed with tremendous virtue.
The Prophet mentioned that *"There is no day when Allah sets free more slaves from Hell than the day of 'Arafah."* [Muslim]
A Gentle Reminder:
- Fast on this blessed day
- Beg Allah for His mercy and forgiveness
- Increase in making dua
The Messenger of Allah said:
The best supplication is that of the day of 'Arafah, and the best thing that I and other Prophets before me said, is:*

*La Ilaaha Illallah, wahdahu laa Shareeka lah. Lahul mulk wa lahul Hamd wa Huwa 'alaa kull Shay'in Qadeer.*
*(There is no god but Allah, the only true God, Who has no partner. To Him belongs the dominion of the universe and to Him all praises are due. And He has the power to do everything.)"*

We ask Allah to:
- Accept the Hajj of the Hujjaj
- Return them back safely
- Make us all among those freed from the fire of hell
- Enter us into Jannatul Firdaws

Hadeeth of the Day
Abu Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet said:
Fasting on the Day of 'Arafah absolves the sins for two years: the previous year and the coming year, and fasting on 'Ashura (the tenth day of Muharram) atones for the sins of previous years.

In case of rain on the day of Eid, we will have alternative indoor prayer arrangements.

Please avoid parking across the street from Masjid Al-Hilal (ICN Ogden) until we have a parking arrangement with the businesses.
- A towing company will be actively monitoring the parking lot and will tow the cars of any individuals parking and walking to or from the ICN facility.
- ICN is actively working with the store owners to finalize a parking arrangement on a recurring basis.
- Please park ONLY in ICN's Parking Lot.

ICN 75th Street Facility Closure Notice
Please note that the ICN 75th Street facility will be closed from Monday, June 2nd at 7:00 PM until Wednesday, June 4th evening (reopening for Fajr prayer on Thursday), InshaAllah!
This is due to a scheduled parking lot sealing and striping project.
During this time:

The facility will not be accessible.

No ghusl or funeral services will be available.

All programs and prayers must be moved to alternate ICN locations.

Shifa Clinic and all departments should plan accordingly.
This closure helps ensure no disruption over the weekend. Work is weather-dependentany changes will be communicated.

ICN Volunteer sub-committee would like to invite and encourage the community to sign up to volunteer for various ICN events, facilities maintenance, and activities. There is always something which you can help with.
- Masjid Property Maintenance (Rearrange, Clean, Storage, etc.)
- Jumuah Lunch Setup & Manage
- Events Planning & Setup (Family, Kids, Eid, etc.)
- Parking & Security
- Managing Supplies
- and much more.
We recognize that our dedicated volunteers spend time away from their families, their work as well as their opportunity for ibadah in order to make things easier for all the ICN community. We are looking for a dedicated and qualified volunteer to lead this Human Capital Development (HCD) sub-committee. This requires a commitment of 4 to 6 hours per week on an ongoing basis.
