Words of Wisdom
This beautiful verse reminds us of the importance of continuing to seek knowledge and reminding one another of the teachings of Islam. Our gatherings are based on this principle - that we benefit from reminders and from learning together.
This powerful hadith establishes that pursuing knowledge is not optional in our faith, but a requirement for every Muslim, regardless of gender, age, or background. Through knowledge, we better understand our deen and improve our worship and character.
The obligation to seek knowledge applies to all aspects of our deen necessary for our daily lives. This includes knowledge of our beliefs (aqeedah), our acts of worship (ibadah), and how to conduct ourselves with excellent character (akhlaq).
Our weekly gatherings provide a supportive environment for learning, asking questions, and strengthening our understanding of Islam. As we remind one another, we all benefit and grow in our faith and practice.
Whether you are beginning your journey in seeking Islamic knowledge or have been studying for years, you are encouraged to join the daily reminders. Remember, the Prophet also said: "The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it."
Sometimes we listen to the talk and then forget about the main points, and when we want to share the information with others, we don't know what to do. Alhamdulilah, we have found a way to resolve this issue. The further reading link will allow you to join the group where you can get a summary of the main points from the khatirah and dars.

Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih al-Muslim are essential books for Muslims after the Quran. They help us understand our religion better, live a good life, and follow Islamic teachingsfaithfully.
CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS:
ICN Volunteer sub-committee would like to invite and encourage the community to sign up to volunteer for various ICN events, facilities maintenance, and activities. There is always something which you can help with.
- Masjid Property Maintenance (Rearrange, Clean, Storage, etc.)
- Jumuah Lunch Setup & Manage
- Events Planning & Setup (Family, Kids, Eid, etc.)
- Parking & Security
- Managing Supplies
- and much more.
We recognize that our dedicated volunteers spend time away from their families, their work as well as their opportunity for ibadah in order to make things easier for all the ICN community. ICN has recently created the Human Capital Development sub-committee. One of its core mandate is human capital development of ICN's volunteers & staff. We are looking for a dedicated and qualified volunteer to lead this Human Capital Development (HCD) sub-committee. This requires a commitment of 4 to 6 hours per week on an ongoing basis. We invite candidates with minimum 3 years of HR or HC experience and proven ability to lead a small team (mostly volunteers) to apply.
