Ramadan Reflection
**Alhumdulilah**, we are about halfway through the blessed month of Ramadan. We pray that Allah makes fasting easy for us and accepts our fasting, our prayers, and dua, and makes us all among those entered into **jannatul firdaws** and freed from the fire of hell. Ameen.
During this month, it is important to remember to fulfill the obligation of Zakah. Like fasting, Zakah is also a pillar of Islam. Zakah is a blessing which purifies and increases our wealth and should never be viewed as a burden.

There are a lot of questions about Zakah, so in sha Allah, we will have a Zakah seminar on Saturday afternoon after Dhur 1:15 at Masjid An-Noor to answer some of these questions.
May Allah give us all the ability to fulfill our obligations in the best possible way, Ameen.

Wisdom from the Prophet
Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
I heard the Messenger of Allah saying: "The case of a miserly man and a generous man who gives in charity is similar to that of two persons who are clad in armor from their breasts up to their collar bones. When the generous man gives in charity, his armor expands to cover his fingertips and toes. When the miser intends to spend something, the armor contracts, and every ring of it sticks to the place where it is (sinks into his flesh). He tries to loosen it, but it does not expand."
