Words of Wisdom
The Quran is the word of Allah - a source of guidance, light, and mercy that transcends mere reading. Our beloved Prophet demonstrated that engaging with the Quran is not about rushing through its pages, but about pausing, reflecting, and allowing its verses to penetrate our hearts.
True believers find their faith strengthened with every verse, their hearts trembling with reverence when Allah is mentioned. This divine book offers peace, comfort, and solace to those who approach it with sincerity and contemplation.
The verse reminds us that genuine faith is characterized by a heart that responds to Allah's remembrance - not with indifference, but with awe and increased devotion. When we hear His verses, our Imaan doesn't remain static; it grows, flourishes, and deepens.
Let us make a more concerted and consistent effort to read, understand, memorize, implement, and teach the words of our Lord. May Allah allow us all to be true people of the Quran.
Hadeeth of the Day
Al-Bara' ibn 'Azib reported: A man was reciting Surat al-Kahf, and an animal became unsettled in his barn. As he looked, there was a mist or a cloud overshadowing him. The man mentioned that to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said,Keep reciting, O you, for it was calm which descended with the Quran, or for the Quran.

ICN Volunteer sub-committee would like to invite and encourage the community to sign up to volunteer for various ICN events, facilities maintenance, and activities. There is always something which you can help with.
- Masjid Property Maintenance (Rearrange, Clean, Storage, etc.)
- Jumuah Lunch Setup & Manage
- Events Planning & Setup (Family, Kids, Eid, etc.)
- Parking & Security
- Managing Supplies
- and much more.
We recognize that our dedicated volunteers spend time away from their families, their work as well as their opportunity for ibadah in order to make things easier for all the ICN community. We are looking for a dedicated and qualified volunteer to lead this Human Capital Development (HCD) sub-committee. This requires a commitment of 4 to 6 hours per week on an ongoing basis.
