As we reflect on the blessings of Ramadan and look toward continuing our spiritual journey, we are reminded of the importance of steadfastness in our faith.
Reflection:
The Path of Istiqamah
The ayah and hadith highlighted above emphasize the critical importance of istiqamah in our lives as Muslims. Istiqamah means being steadfast, patient, consistent, and committed to worshipping Allah in all situations and circumstances.
As we transition from the blessed month of Ramadan, we ask Allah to accept all of our righteous actions performed during this special time. One of the signs of acceptance is that we continue to perform good deeds that are pleasing to Allah and remain steadfast in avoiding the sins we left behind during Ramadan.
We pray to Allah to make us all steadfast and consistent in worshiping Him after Ramadan and to help us stay away from the sins we abandoned during this holy month.
Hadeeth of the Day
On the authority of Abu Amr and he is also called Abu Amrah Sufyan bin Abdullah ath-Thaqafee (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:
I said, O Messenger of Allah, tell me something about al-Islam which I can ask of no one but you.
He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, Say I believe in Allah and then be steadfast.

Please avoid parking across the street from Masjid Al-Hilal (ICN Ogden) until we have a parking arrangement with the businesses.
- A towing company will be actively monitoring the parking lot and will tow the cars of any individuals parking and walking to or from the ICN facility.
- ICN is actively working with the store owners to finalize a parking arrangement on a recurring basis.
- Please park ONLY in ICN's Parking Lot.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS:
ICN Volunteer sub-committee would like to invite and encourage the community to sign up to volunteer for various ICN events, facilities maintenance, and activities. There is always something which you can help with.
- Masjid Property Maintenance (Rearrange, Clean, Storage, etc.)
- Jumuah Lunch Setup & Manage
- Events Planning & Setup (Family, Kids, Eid, etc.)
- Parking & Security
- Managing Supplies
- and much more.
We recognize that our dedicated volunteers spend time away from their families, their work as well as their opportunity for ibadah in order to make things easier for all the ICN community. We pray that Allah SWT may grant them the best of rewards in this Dunya and Aakhirah for their commitment and dedication. Ameen.

ICN has recently created the Human Capital Development sub-committee. One of its core mandate is human capital development of ICN's volunteers & staff. We are looking for a dedicated and qualified volunteer to lead this Human Capital Development (HCD) sub-committee. This requires a commitment of 4 to 6 hours per week on an ongoing basis. If interested, please email your profile summary to [email protected]. We invite candidates with minimum 3 years of HR or HC experience and proven ability to lead a small team (mostly volunteers) to apply.
