Teachers Needed for ICNBM's Summer Programs
1. We are looking for a Summer Camp Manager for about 6 weeks. It is a paid position. Please contact [email protected], if you are interested or have more questions.
Summer Camp Brief: This summer, the Islamic Center of Nashville is planning to offer a kid's summer camp at ICNBM. It will begin June 10th-July 19th. It will be held Mondays-Thursdays from 8:30 am to 1:15 pm. This program is for kids ages 5+ and consists of Quran memorization, arts & crafts, and physical activity.
2. We are looking for an ACT/SAT Teacher for about 2~3 weeks. The ideal candidate will be someone who scored well on the ACT/SAT and wants to coach community students to score well. It is a paid position. Please contact [email protected], if you are interested or have more questions.
ACT/SAT Brief: This summer, the Islamic Center of Nashville is planning to offer an ACT/SAT Camp for middle and high school students at ICNBM. The dates/times are flexible. It will be held Mondays-Thursdays from 8:30 am to 1:15 pm (tentative). This program is for students who want to prepare for ACT/SAT and learn tricks and tips for high scores.
3. We are looking for a Fun Coding and Programming Teacher for about 2~3 weeks. Ideal candidates will be someone who knows and loves programming and wants to teach community students how to program or write code. It is a paid position. Community Graduation Celebration & Dinner
Are you graduating this year from high school, community college, undergraduate, graduate, or professional school, or will you receive a professional certification or GED in 2024?
Islamic Center of Nashville invites you, your family, and friends to the 2024 Community Graduation Celebration & Dinner event on Friday, May 31st at ICN 12 South; an evening set aside to honor hard work and achievement and to celebrate the graduates next steps. Open to the Ummah across Middle Tennessee.
Each registered graduate will be given a certificate and a special gift. Please register your information using this form by May 29th at 5 PM.
TSU-ULI Summer Workshop
The Urban Studies program at TSU, in collaboration with Urban Land Institute (ULI), is organizing a two day UrbanPlan Summer Workshop for High School students on June 10 (12 to 4PM) and June 11 (10AM to 2 PM). Registration deadline for the program is May 23. The workshop is for rising Juniors and Seniors, but Sophomores are also encouraged to register. Attendees will receive certificate after successful completion.
UrbanPlan uses experiential learning to help participants understand the complex nature of land use decisions and our role in creating better communities. Under the supervision of reputed professionals from the fields of Architecture, Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, and Community Activism, your child will gain hands on experience in solving complex land use decision problems.
Participation in the workshop will provide them an idea about careers in Urban Planning, Architecture, Real Estate Development, and Community Activism. They will also develop critical thinking skills and teamwork, and gain insight into how they can contribute to building better communities. I strongly encourage you to enroll your child to the workshop.

Program Objective:** Quran and Islamic studies for boys and girls older than 5 years.
