Aayah of the Day
Surah Al-Baqarah: Ayat 83
(2:83) And remember when We took a covenant from the children of Israel, stating, Worship none but Allah; be kind to parents, relatives, orphans, and the needy; speak kindly to people; establish prayer; and pay alms-tax. But you Israelites turned awayexcept for a few of youand were indifferent.
Hadith of the Day
Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA): The Prophet () said: Two festivals (Eid and Friday) have synchronised on this day. If anyone does not want to offer the Friday prayer, the Eid prayer is sufficient for him. But we shall offer the Friday prayer.
