Surah Al-Baqarah: Ayat 160
(2:160) Except those who repent and do righteous deeds, and openly declare (the truth which they concealed). These, I will accept their repentance. And I am the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.
Abu Ad-Dardh (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said: "Nothing is placed on the Scale that is heavier than good character. Indeed, the person with good character will have attained the rank of the person of fasting and prayer."
