Masjid Remodeling Update

Alhamdulillah, much progress has been made regarding the remodeling of the inside of the masjid. As the stairs in front of the prayer hall have been dismantled to level the floor and make space. Similar progress has been made in the back of the prayer hall. InshAllah our next step is to lay out the new carpets which will help bring our vision for this space together.

Sunday School

We had our open house for Sunday school last week! The ICL Sunday School is an initiative to help educate our community children on Islam, while giving them a strong identity and sense of community. • We have a tajweed class on Tuesdays taught by sister Yosra from 10 am to 12 pm.
• Every Sunday, from 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., we have a Quran recitation and memorization (of short surahs) with Brother Samir Walai, and Sister Yosra Awadalla. If you are interested, there is more information on our website!
