General Elections Update

 
As previously announced, ICF will be holding elections for 4 Board of Director positions and 1 Board of Trustee position. The qualifications for each position are different and listed in the nomination forms. 

As we continue to build and nurture our community, the importance of dedicated leadership on our masjid board cannot be overstated. We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to step forward in service to the masjid and its members by running in our upcoming board elections. If you have the desire and skills to contribute, we warmly encourage you to consider this opportunity.

Serving on the board is more than an administrative role; it is an opportunity to actively contribute to the vision, development, and spiritual well-being of our community. Board members have the responsibility to:

  1. Strengthen Our Masjid As a board member, you will play a crucial role in creating programs, managing resources, and ensuring the masjid serves as a vibrant center for worship, education, and community support.

  2. Promote Community Engagement Youll have the chance to foster connections among members, develop outreach initiatives, and make a real difference in the lives of our brothers and sisters.

  3. Support Future Growth The masjid has seen immense growth over the years, and there is much potential to expand our services. Your vision and contributions can shape the future of our beloved masjid for years to come.

If you or someone you know is interested in making this meaningful commitment, please consider running for a position on the board. Likewise, we encourage every eligible community member to vote. Your participation in the election process is essential for a fair and representative leadership.

Membership Renewal

Membership Renewal Requirement
Please note that to either run for the board or to vote, community members must have a current, active membership. If you have not yet renewed your membership, please do so at your earliest convenience to participate fully in the upcoming election. If you would like to renew your membership or begin your membership please use this link: 2024 Islamic Center of Fredericksburg Membership Application Memberships can be set to renew annually so that you are never unsure of your membership status as well. Just follow the link provided and select "Annual Membership".
