ICF Important Announcement
Dear ICF Community,
As previously announced, Br. Nasir Khan has formally resigned from the ICF Shura due to personal commitments. We extend our gratitude for his service and contributions to the ICF Community.
In accordance with Article 6.7.4 of the ICF Constitution (link), Brother Mohammad Zia Baig was requested by the ICF Election Commission and has accepted to join the ICF Shura, effective immediately.
Here is a brief introduction for Br. Mohammad Zia Baig:
"I am Mohammad Zia Baig, and I am proud to call Texas my home. My journey has taken me from Karachi to New York, and finally to Texas, where I have found my heart. Professionally, I am a finance and accounting expert, and I established my own business to help individuals and companies navigate the complexities of finance.
My true passion lies in giving back to the community. Serving others and engaging in charitable work is a profound calling for me. I've had the privilege of dedicating my time and efforts to the New Muslim Committee for over a year now, where I've witnessed firsthand the power of unity and support within the community. It's a role I hold close to my heart.
One of the things that people often mention about me is my humble and approachable personality. I genuinely enjoy meeting new people and I'm always eager to learn from others and share the wisdom I've gathered along my own journey.
In summary, my life is a blend of professional success, family love, personal interests, and a deep commitment to making a positive impact in my community. I look forward to the adventures that lie ahead and the people I'll meet along the way."
