The purpose of this email is to announce a Special General Body Meeting of the ICEB members on Sunday, September 15, 2024, tentatively scheduled to take place right after 'Asr prayers. 

This meeting has been called by the Shura under Section 04.04.04(b) of the Bylaws to:

1. Discuss and vote on a resolution concerning the purchase and utilization of the residential property next to ICEB, and 
2. Discuss and ratify certain amendments to the Bylaws governing the operations of ICEB, which have received the signatures of one-fourth of the current members of the ICEB General Assembly (with dues paid for 2024, as of September 2, 2024), as stipulated in Article VI of the Bylaws.

Discussion and voting in the Special General Body Meeting will be restricted to ICEB members who have paid their annual membership dues for the year 2024. Existing members with unpaid dues can become eligible to participate in the meeting by renewing their membership for 2024 before the start of the meeting. Applications for new memberships, for eligibility to attend and vote in this meeting, will be accepted until 11:59 PM EDT on September 8, 2024. This email is being sent to the entire ICEB community, both members and non-members, in the interest of full transparency. Follow-up communications regarding further discussions on the two agenda items for the Special General Body Meeting, as well as the confirmed time of the meeting, will be shared only with members who have paid their 2024 dues.
