Assalamu Alaikum ICCG Community,
We want to share an update on the ongoing construction work at ICCG to keep everyone informed:
1. Awning Rebuild (Entrance by Parking Lot):
Completed for $20,026 with a 7-year workmanship warranty.
2. Roof Damage Discovered:
During construction, damage to the flat roof over the mens kitchen and bathroom was found. Inspection, temporary plastic covering, and engineering analysis (generously donated by Br. Nawari) cost $2,200.
3. Structural Truss Repairs:
Water damage led to weakened trusses.
Repairs initially quoted at $3,700, but negotiated down to $3,060.
4. Current Status:
Roof drying and sealing work is nearly complete, with no further leaks expected.
Final work should be done by mid-next week (mid January, inshaAllah).
