Dear Beloved Community Members,
As the crescent moon heralds the arrival of Ramadan, we want to extend our warmest greetings to you and your loved ones. This blessed month offers us a unique opportunity to deepen our faith, strengthen our will, and renew our commitment to compassion and community service.
During Ramadan, we fast, not just from food and drink but from negative actions, thoughts, and all the sins of the limbs. This spiritual discipline invites us to reflect on our lives, appreciate our blessings, and develop empathy for those less fortunate. Let us embrace this time to grow closer to Allah (SWT) through prayer, reading the Quran, and performing good deeds.
We encourage you to participate in the special events and activities planned throughout this month with us or other centers in our city. Whether it be the nightly Taraweeh prayers, community Iftars, or charity initiatives, your involvement will enrich our local community and strengthen the bonds that tie us together.
Remember, Ramadan is also a time of communal unity and joy. Let us share in the spirit of generosity and kindness, reaching out to those in need and inviting friends and neighbors to join our observances and celebrations.
Please keep Palestine, Sudan, The Congo, and all oppressed people in your dua. Also, pray that you never become an oppressor by usurping the rights of anyone, be it your spouse, employer, or fellow believer.
May this Ramadan bring you peace, health, and prosperity. May your prayers be answered, your sins forgiven, and your faith elevated. Let us make the most of these blessed days and nights, seeking the pleasure of Allah (SWT) and the betterment of ourselves and our community.
