It's simple. We need each other.

Dear Beloved Community Members,

As-salamu alaykum,

I hope this message finds you and your loved ones in the best of health and iman. As we approach the last few nights of Ramadan, I am writing to you with a heart filled with gratitude and hope.

Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, we have come together as a community to observe this blessed month with sincerity and devotion. Last night, we had Our Night of Power Qiyam event with Dr. Sherman Jackson. The gathering was genuinely enriching, filled with blessings, and marked by rekindling old friendships and embracing new ones.

In these challenging times, our community has not only persevered but flourished. Despite the hardships brought about by the pandemic of 2020 and the heart-wrenching genocide in Gaza, our community has doubled in size. This growth is a testament to the resilience and faith of every one of you.

Furthermore, our community has been blessed with an exponential increase in new converts, with more individuals embracing Islam since October 7th than in the past two years.

As we witness this expansion and transformation, we recognize the responsibility that comes with it. We are committed to nurturing and supporting our growing community with care and Ihsan. However, to continue our efforts and provide for the needs of our expanding community, we need your support.

We are striving to reach our Ramadan fundraising goal of $250,000. Alhamdulillah, we have raised $138,331, but we still have a significant way to go. We need to close the gap. Your generous contributions will enable us to sustain and enhance our services, programs, and facilities for the benefit of all.

Your prayers and financial support during these last few nights of Ramadan are invaluable. Let us seize this opportunity to earn the countless blessings of these blessed nights by investing in the future of our community.

To those who attended our center for the first time, I extend a warm welcome. We hope you felt the warmth and hospitality of our community and that you will consider making Ibrahim Center your spiritual home. We want you here with us as active participants in our journey of faith and growth.

I also want to thank Dr. Sherman Jackson for a stimulating and spiritually uplifting speech. Although Dr. Jackson rarely travels for speaking engagements anymore, he made an exception and came out for us. His parting words to me while dropping him off at the airport this morning were; "You have built something special. Keep up the great work." We definitely plan to. I am also grateful for all the volunteers and the huge sacrifices being made to move our community forward.

May Allah accept our efforts and bless us abundantly in this blessed month and beyond.

Jazakum Allahu Khayran, thank you for your continued support and dedication.

With heartfelt gratitude and prayers,
