We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you! The Islamic Academy of Delaware is expanding to better serve our growing community. We are pleased to announce the opening of our new two-story building located at 302 Darling St., Newark, DE 19702.
With this expansion, enrollment is now open for all grades for the upcoming 2024-2025 academic year. In addition, we are exploring the possibility of starting a 9th grade, contingent on the level of student interest.
This is a wonderful opportunity to secure your child's place at IAD and be part of our continued growth and commitment to providing high-quality Islamic education.

Please join us with hundreds of community members at the ISD Annual Picnic on Sunday, September 8th at German Club Picnic Area near Masjid Ibrahim. Free parking will be available at German Club, Masjid Ibrahim and on Salem Church Road.
We have arranged for Games, Moon Bounce and Slide and free activities for the children. Fresh BBQ, Snacks and Ice Cream will be available for purchase. There will also be ethnic clothing, jewelry and more.

ISD Community Mental Health & Wellness Survey
Since Mental Health & Wellness are important topics that impact our community, Sr. Nadia Sheikh who is a graduate social work student at University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) and a member of our community for many years, is planning to organize support groups and mental health & wellness workshops for the youth within our community.
Please complete this survey to help her assess what will be beneficial for you. This survey is for the youth and their parents. Please respond to the best of your ability. IAD is seeking elementary and middle school teachers with strong teaching abilities and understanding of instructional practices in elementary or middle school education, and an enthusiasm for connecting learning to real-life application. Candidates should be energetic and progressive-minded, with a willingness to work collaboratively with other teachers.
